Beat The Heat - Play & Look Your Best

We tend to like the early tee times during the summer to beat the heat.  Triple digit temps and humidity can take its toll on you but look at the bright side, it beats snow shoveling.  A few tips from Short Par 4 to make sure you are prepared to play and look your best in the heat:

Whatever you call it make sure you get plenty of it. If you think you are getting enough then double it up and drink twice as much. Our go to brand is Aquahydrate for great taste and double the electrolytes.

We suggest a sweat proof and non-greasy sunscreen with at least an SPF of 30.  You should consider reapplying every 6 holes.  More top golfers in the world turn to Golfersskin as their go to brand of sun protection.

The Bucket Hat

You may look goofy to your friends but at least your ears and neck are protected.  Bridgestone came out with the perfect moisture wicking bucket hat to keep you cool as a cucumber!

Wear The Right Polo

Stick to the blends like the Insider and the Bond by our friends over at Johnnie O

Boardshorts on The Golf Course?

This is exactly what Linksoul has created. The ultimate golf short that allows you to go right from the course directly into the pool. Just make sure you take your shoes off first!

Sweaty feet, ok!
Smelly feet, not ok!

Don’t stink up your car after your round.  Pro Compression socks are not only comfortable but have moisture control too.  Originally made for the marathon runner, golfers can now experience what a moisture wicking sock can do for you on a hot day.
